Training

We would suggest that you dress appropriately for the weather at the time of completing your 10 K. If you have a mouth cancer 10 KM Walk T shirt from previous years walks, we would love you to wear it while out on your 2025 walk. Take a re-usable water bottle, (ideally not plastic), to have with you and your family on the walk.

The main aim is to raise awareness of mouth cancer through your walk; we have come up with multiple ways of how this can be achieved:

  • Buy a mouth cancer t-shirt to wear on your walk – By having our logo visible you will spark huge amounts of interest with passers-by.
  • Create, draw, paint our logo and tag us in on social media, with your loop, logo, and tag a friend. We can also email across a jpeg of the charity logo.
  • Try and encourage a neighbour to do their bit, and post a Mouth Cancer Foundation flyer through their door!

Everybody is invited to participate and walk as far as they can! If you want to train to take part in the walk, please see our training tips below.

All participants will receive a medal for their achievement.
